Husker fans,

We had the largest turnout at Winking Lizard in Lakewood last Saturday with 25 fans in attendance. Thank you! Not the outcome we wanted as the breaks like the fumble that was not a fumble and a very questionable onside kick call continue to go the opponents way. As hard as it is to listen to the post game comments and media reaction, we need to continue to support! We will be having a watch party on Saturday for the game against North Dakota at 3:30 at the Winking Lizard in Lakewood. Hopefully this time we can have a pick the score winner and we can celebrate a victory!

It’s almost time!!!

The Huskers fell to Oklahoma in Norman last week 23 to 16. A loss is a loss, but much better showing against a ranked team. Oklahoma was favored by over 17, and the Huskers kept the game tight.

The Huskers are in East Lansing Michigan today to take on the Michigan State Spartans.

A few of the NorthEast Ohio Nebraskan’s are there representing our group. No official watch party tonight for the game, but if you are going out to watch it, post on the NorthEast Ohio Nebraskan’s Facebook group and maybe a few fan’s will join you! Cheer Loud!

A hot day in Lincoln leads to a nice victory over the Buffalo Bulls.

Next up… a blast to the past. Nebraska travels behind enemy lines of old to Norman Oklahoma to take on their old rival. The 4th ranked Oklahoma Sooners. The last meeting was back in 2010.

A nice win against Fordham in Lincoln this week. Buffalo could be a challenge next Saturday in Lincoln as the Huskers host Buffalo University this Saturday, September 11th. The Huskers hit the ground running in Illinois this weekend with Kick-off at 1:20pm EST.
Frost and company plan to put the past behind them and start the turn around on the road with game one in Champaign, IL. The game will be broadcast on FOX but it is always more fun to cheer on the Huskers with your fellow Husker Faithful. Dust off the foam fingers, the corn hats, and face paint and join the North East Ohio Nebraskan’s at the Winking Lizard for the first watch party of the season!
